Moldova

Recently the work has branched out to help brothers and sisters in Christ in the neighbouring country of Moldo va where poverty is commonplace.
Funding and assistance has been given to help them set up a mirror work - 'Children for Christ - Moldova'. This is headed up by Brother Andrei and a team of helpers.
History
- Vio and I met brother Andrei at
a Christian camping conference in the middle of
Both Vio and I tried to ignore
his talk, but at the time of prayer that night, Brother Andrei was
in our group and on being asked why he came to
The Lord convicted both Vio and I that night. Both of us had individually thought that we couldn’t afford to help them financially because we had just started to build our camp for all year around use. This was a selfish thought for which the Lord convicted us. How could we ignore this plea when hundreds of children could hear the gospel, even if we had to stop our building we felt we had to help them.
So before leaving the conference we said that we would try and help, by raising peoples awareness, and also to talk with Harry regarding helping financially, but at least we would be willing to come and help with training of his young people.

On returning to
At the beginning of May we held
a weeks training for their leaders for camp.
Brother Andrei and his team
have held 8 weeks of summer camps for over a 100 children at a time,
since the summer of 2003.
The children who come to camp would normally not have the
possibility to go to camp, the poverty in Rep. Moldova is
overwhelming.

Their efforts have been praised
by local authorities and greatly appreciated by the children.
Many children have trusted the Lord as Saviour.
They have freedom to preach the
gospel to these children and give them a hope for their future,
their country may be in a terrible state politically and physically
but spiritually they can offer “Hope in Christ” to the children for
“their future”.
